A one-of-a-kind program for first-time skiers and riders!

Bob Beverly was instrumental in the development of Powderhorn Mountain Resort since its opening in 1966, and was inducted into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame in 2000. Born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Bob learned to ski as a child and never stopped sharing his love of skiing with others. A core value of Bob's that we continue to honor at Powderhorn is that skiing and snowboarding should be accessible to more families and individuals. If you’ve never skied and never snowboarded before, we’ve developed the Bob Beverly program to get you on the mountain for your first time…for free.

What Is The Program?

Each participant will be able to take advantage of this program up to three times throughout the same season. All three sessions provide free station-based lessons, a free Easy Rider lift ticket, and free rental equipment that are valid during your lesson. If you schedule the “am” session, you have the option to upgrade your lift ticket and rental gear for the remainder of the day for just $19. If you schedule a “pm” session, your lift ticket and rental gear can be used until the lifts close at 4pm.

You many NOT change disciplines (ski or snowboard) once you sign up.
